SISTEMA DE SEGURANÇA PARA UM TREM TENDO UMA TRIPULAÇÃOOPERACIONAL DE LOCOMOTIVA E MÉTODO DE AUXILIAR A OPERAÇÃOSEGURA DE UM TREMUm método e sistema para auxiliar a operação segura deum trem adaptado para ser operado por uma tripulaçãooperacional de locomotiva compreende gerar informaçãocrítica localizada por GPS em um local central, ainformação crítica localizada por GPS com base pelo menosem parte em um ou mais mapas de estrada de ferro e um oumais sistemas de informação de despachante de trem;monitorar a localização em tempo real do trem com umdispositivo de GPS a bordo do trem; e gerar alertas para atripulação operacional de locomotiva com base na informaçãocrítica localizada por GPS e a localização em tempo real dotrem, de modo que a tripulação é alertada quanto a futurasalterações a serem implementadas.
