Abstract
SISTEMA DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO DE POTÊNCIA PARA UM VEÍCULO COMPÓSITO, E, MÉTODO PARA REDUZIR AMEAÇAS DE RAIOS EM UM VEÍCULO COMPÓSITO É descrita uma arquitetura de veículo compósito sem uma rede de retorno de corrente para reduzir ameaças de raios. Uma pluralidade de centros de equipamentos modulares (MECs) é espacialmente distribuída por todo o veículo. Cargas de equipamento dentro do veículo são cada qual servidas pelo MEC mais próximo. Pares condutores elétricos trançados e blindados fornecem potência secundária às cargas de equipamento para minimizar a quantidade de fio na aeronave, bem como as correntes de retorno na aeronave.
