Isolante térmico composto por um núcleo de poliestireno expandido (EPS) com laminaçao de películas poliméricas refletivas em um ou ambos os lados do núcleo - A presente invenção refere-se a um isolante térmico rígido de alto rendimento, composto por duas películas de poliméricos refletivos (14) e (15), ligadas entre si por uma alma (12), na qual a alma é constituída por poliestireno expandido (EPS). A presente invenção forma uma barreira de ar e de vapor, bloqueia a radiação, e funciona como um isolante térmico rígido que controla todas a três formas de transferência de calor, convecção, radiação e condução. Proporcionando assim, menor consumo de energia elétrica para climatização de ambientes e menores gastos com gestao de resíduos em obras.
