RESUMOPatente de Invenção: "ARRECIFE ARTIFICIAL FOCALIZADOR DE ONDAS E MÉTODO PARA DIMENSIONAR UM ARRECIFE".Descreve-se um arrecife artificial focalizador de ondas (1) compreendendo uma base (7), uma ou mais rampas laterais (4a, 4b), um platô (5), uma proa (2) e uma popa (3), um comprimento (C) disposto longitudinalmente em relação ao deslocamento das ondas (d), uma largura (L) disposta transversalmente em relação ao deslocamento das ondas (d) e uma altura (A) entre a base (7) e o platô (5). O arrecife (1) sendo composto por blocos ocos, pré-moldados de concreto ou de aço, submersos e fixados uns aos outros em uma estrutura única e apresentar um formato geométrico regular com uma relação entre o comprimento (C) e a largura (L) entre 0,1 até 10, preferencialmente entre 0,2 e 5. A invenção trata ainda de um método para dimensionar um arrecife.
