RESUMOPatente de Invenção: "COMPÓSITO DE MATRIZ DE METAL USADO COMO UM ELEMENTO DE AQUECIMENTO". A presente invenção refere-se a um substrato estrutural (300) para uma estrutura de aeronave e métodos. Um material compósito híbrido multicamada compreende uma camada mais externa (302), uma camada intermediária (304) e uma camada mais interna (306). A camada mais externa compreende um compósito de matriz de metal eletricamente condutor (308, 400) que conduz eletricidade para fornecer aquecimento elétrico. A camada intermediária compreende um isolante elétrico (310) acoplado à camada mais externa. A camada mais interna compreende um compósito (312) acoplado à camada intermediária. A camada intermediária isola eletricamente a camada mais externa da camada mais interna.
