A presente invenção descreve novas e melhores formas de dosagem contendo um inibidor de esteroide 5-alfa-redutase, em combinação com um bloqueador alfa, para o tratamento ou profilaxia de uma doença ou condição mediada por andrógeno, preferencialmente para o tratamento da hiperplasia prostática benigna (HPB)
