Abstract
PROCESSO DE SÍNTESE DE ZEÓLITAS UTILIZANDO COMO FONTE DE SILÍCIO AS CINZAS DO BAGAÇO DE CANA DE AÇÚCAR. A presente invenção diz respeito à síntese de um material zeolítico do utilizando um resíduo agroindustrial, ambientalmente perigoso e gerenciado de forma ineficaz, como fonte de silício, as cinzas do bagaço de cana de açúcar. A zeólita foi obtida utilizando os métodos de fusão alcalina antes da etapa de cristalização em condições hidrotérmicas. O material sintetizado tem potencial aplicação em processos catalíticos, troca iônica e como agente bactericida.
