THE LONELY BARBER

Mark description

The mark consists of a design in the shape of a pyramid. The top portion of the pyramid is formed by a stylized triangle with scalloped edges. At the center of the triangle is a single eye. A pair of haircutting scissors with a finger rest, pointing blade side down, pierces the pupil of an eye. Four short lines arranged in an arc, appear on each side of the pupil and radiate outward. The handles of the scissors extend beyond the top of the triangle and the blades of the scissors extend below the bottom of the triangle. On each side of the scissor blades, three teardrop shapes are depicted falling downward from the eye, following the curvature of the eye and resembling tears. The bottom portion of the pyramid is comprised of the words "THE LONELY BARBER" in a bold, stylized font. The word "THE," which is slightly curved, is smaller and appears above the letter “O” in the word "LONELY." The foot of the first letter “L” in the word “LONELY” is a ribbon and begins outside of the pyramid shape, and extends beyond the letter “Y.” The foot of each of the letters L and Y at the end the of the word “LONELY” are joined together. The word "BARBER" appears below the word “LONELY” in a larger stylized font, with the swash of the top bowl of the first letter “B” extending outside the pyramid shape, and the tail of the first letter “R” extending below the base of the pyramid shape.
