Mark description

The mark consists of a two-dimensional design appearing on the exterior surface of a beverage can. The dotted lines forming the shape of the beverage can are not part of the mark and are merely intended to show the position of the mark. The mark features the stylized black letters MELA displayed vertically down the middle of the design. On the left side of the word MELA, and arranged vertically from top to bottom, is a design of a round cut red watermelon with black seeds and a green rind; a square red watermelon piece outlined in black; a star design depicted by five short black lines; a green watermelon with black stripes; a square red watermelon piece outlined in black; a red sun outlined in black with black sunrays; a triangular shaped red watermelon piece with black seeds and a green rind; a square red watermelon piece outlined in black; and three green waves. On the right side of the word MELA, and arranged vertically from top to bottom, is a design of a green watermelon with black stripes depicting a sun with black lines extending from the watermelon; a square red watermelon piece outlined in black; a black butterfly with wings composed of red triangular watermelon pieces with green rinds; a square red watermelon piece outlined in black; a star design depicted by five short black lines; a green watermelon with black stripes; a red watermelon wedge with black seeds and four curves in the wedge depicting bites; and a round cut red watermelon with black seeds and a green rind. All instances of the colors white and gray represent background, outlining, shading, and/or transparent area and are not part of the mark.
