Mark description

The mark consists of a rectangular shape, with the short side at the bottom and the entire rectangle colored black. A white square appears within the upper half of the rectangle within which is a sketch of a galloping horse composed of black lines. The horse is turned to the left and shown from the side. The image of the horse is slightly shifted towards the top of the square and part of the horse's head and tail is depicted in white outside the white square. There is a horizontal scribble line in black under the horse's legs representing the shadow of the horse. Directly below the square in a straight line in bold upper case italic lettering is the word "DERBY", with the letters "D" and "Y" appearing in larger type. The wording "FÜR DEINE LEIDENSCHAFT" in white upper case letters appears in an arc beneath the wording "DERBY"; white five pointed stars appear at each end of the arc. At the bottom of the rectangle is the wording "SEIT 1968" in white lower case lettering; a hyphen appears on either side of the lettering.
