Mark description

The mark consists of the words "State of Texas" appearing in white letters at the top of the mark on a red rectangular background, which has a border of blue on the sides and white across the top. Centered underneath is a badge-shape containing a stylized replica of the State of Texas flag in the middle portion of the badge, with a white star on a blue background on the left and the right side of the flag equally divided in size between a white colored area that appears above an area colored in red, with gray horizontal accents on both. Centered across the bottom is a black automobile design, with white and blue accents. The badge has an outline of black inside an outline of white, with sides that extend on the left and right containing red, blue, and gray shaded areas. Directly beneath the badge appears the wording "MOTOR VEHICLE CRIME PREVENTION AUTHORITY" in banner in white lettering on a black background. At the very bottom of the mark are groupings of red stars appearing in two groups of four. The black background upon which the entire mark rests represents background or transparent areas only and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
