Mark description

The mark consists of A handheld two-way radio with buttons 1 - 9 and the letters KD1MU displayed where the radio would normally display frequency. The radio has an antenna with a circle on its top radiating arc shaped elements representing radio waves. Emanating from the radio's left and right side are two triangles each emanating bars representing sound or radio waves. The bars start 1/4 distance from the triangle closest to the radio and get smaller as they recede from the radio. These bars are flat on the bottom and have sloped tops that angle toward the radio (i.e. the highest point in the slope faces the radio) . The name KD1MU is positioned to the right of the radio in this drawing but its position may move to below the radio or further to the right. This is to accommodate circular stickers or elongated stickers for branding products. In very small images used when space is limited, the vertical bars in the mark may not be visible, the letters KD1MU in the radio display may not be visible and the letters KD1MU to the right of the image be enlarged in order to be legible.
