Mark description

The mark consists of a rimmed circle partly hidden by a wide ribbon with the word NORD on it in the upper left quadrant and on the outside of the circle; the circle is also partly hidden by a ribbon extended out of the circle horizontally from left to right transversing the entire lower part of the circle with the words Breakthrough Summit and also a small part outside the circle on the right; the inner part of the circle at midpoint is a silhouette view of various DC monuments from left to right (Lincoln Memorial, U.S. Capitol building, the White House and the Washington Monument); in the upper part of the circle not hidden by the ribbon is a background with approximately ten representations in whole or in part of genes and one representation of a gene in the upper right quadrant to the right of the Capitol Dome.
