The mark consists of three concentric circles in black, with the outermost circle in fine font, the inner two black concentric circles are in bold black font; the space between the two inner-most concentric circles is colored in red; the top half of the red circle carries the words "LADIES FROM HELL PIPE BAND" in all capital letters and colored in gold with black outlining; the bottom half of the red circle carries the words "PENN YORK" "HIGHLANDERS" in all capital letters and colored in white with black outlining; each side of the red circle has small circles filled in black separating the wording at the top and the wording at the bottom; inside the inner-most black concentric circle is a white background, carrying three men dressed in kilts of plaid patterns in the colors green black, yellow, and red; the man on the left also wears a black military hat or helmet, wears a gray military jacket, gray knee-high socks with red tassels, black shoes, holds the top of a brown firearm rifle with the bottom rested near his feet and looks to the right, or over his left shoulder; the man on the right also wears a black military hat or helmet, wears a gray military jacket, gray knee-high socks with red tassels, black shoes, holds the top of a brown firearm rifle with the bottom rested near his feet and looks to the left, or over his right shoulder; the man in the center wears a black military jacket with white lines and badges on the sleeves, the piper's plaid in green, red, black, and yellow to match the kilt diagonally across his chest and flowing to the right, or his left side, and landing lower than the kilt and with black fringe at the end, a black and white cross belt diagonally across his chest, over the piper's plaid and in the opposite direction of the piper's plaid, a white sporan with black tassels over the front of his kilt, red and black knee high socks with tassels, white spats around his ankles with black shoes showing underneath, a black military hat, and plays a bagpipe that he holds in front of him; the bags are red, the blow stick and drones are black, the tuning slides are gray, the drone cord which flows off to the right is red, and a red flag flows off to the right from the tenor drone; the center man stands directly on a black line or bar with his feet interrupting the line or bar; the men on the right and left are smaller and stand further above the line or bar to make them appear further in the distance; directly under the black line or bar is the word, "ATHENS" in black capital letters followed by a comma and "PA" in black capital letters and followed by a period in black font; the font is larger at the center of the "ATHENS, PA." and smaller to the left and right.
