Mark description

The mark consists of the literal element "EST. 1889" shown in white at the top of the mark. Above the term "EST. 1889" is a white semi-circle. Immediately below the terms, is a stylized tan underline with two swirling designs on either side of a crown design dividing the terms. Below the underline is the literal element "SDBATT3" in white stylized letters with white shading to make the letters appear three-dimensional. Below the term "SDBATT3"is the image of a firefighter with cream and tan skin and wearing a red hat, coat, and pants with red, cream, and orange highlights to show folds in the clothes, and tan, cream, and gray boots. On either side of the fireman are swirling designs that frame the fireman. Coming from the bottom of the swirling designs is a white semicircle banner that connects the two swirling designs beneath the fireman. Inside the cream banner are the literal elements "SAN DIEGO BATTALION 3" in black. All the aforementioned is on a black background.
