Mark description

The mark consists of A gold crown with seven diamonds at the base of the crown. The crown is centered above a shield. There are three solid outlines of the shield. The outside outline is dark blue. The middle outline is gold. The inside outline is white. The shield is divided into four quadrants. The upper left quadrant has a maroon color background with the "HBCU" in the center in capital white block letters with a dark blue outline of the block letters. The upper right quadrant has a white color background and an image of a dark blue graduation cap in the center of the quadrant. The lower left quadrant has a white color background and the image of the state of Florida is green in the center, there is a maroon star on the image of the State of Florida representing the location of the City of Tampa. The lower right quadrant has a dark blue background and an image of an orange basketball with a white outline and dark blue lining in the center of the quadrant. Running along the bottom of the shield is a gold ribbon with the words "Hoops Invitational" inscribed in the center of the ribbon in capital white block letters with a dark blue outline of the letters. The gold ribbon extends past the sides of the shield on the left and right sides.
