Mark description

The mark consists of an outer circle formed of a gold braided rope having a black outline with a blue globe having a black outline, white internal longitude and latitude lines and light blue continents outlined in white enclosed therein. Superimposed on the left of the globe is a gold yellow-beaked eagle outlined in black holding a black outlined gold and yellow trident, which intersects with a crossed black outlined grey and yellow anchor and black outlined brown, grey and yellow pistol in front of the eagle. To the right of the eagle is a black and white boat in front of a black, white and brown anchor and a sword with a black and white blade and brown, yellow and black handle crossed with a black, yellow, brown and white pistol. Above the boat is a black outlined grey banner with three black outlined yellow stars. Centered below the eagle and boat designs is an open black book with tan pages having a grey, white and black feather and black, grey and brown book marker in the form of a torch laying in the middle. Within the white ring formed by the space between the outer circle and globe is the black wording "NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE CENTER" arched in the top portion and the black wording "CORONADO CALIFORNIA" curved along the bottom portion Between the top and bottom wording is a black outlined gold star appearing on the left and right sides respectively.
