The barrel is lying horizontally. One of the man's feet is extended towards the ground, and is resting on the letter "F" of the text "Fred & Barrel" which is beneath the man and barrel. His other leg is bent and his pant leg has two holes on top of where his knee is bent. The man has a piece of wheat in his mouth and is wearing a wrinkled short-brimmed cowboy hat. The barrel has three lines across its length and two thicker lines closer to the top and bottom of the barrel. Since the barrel is on its side, the two thicker lines run vertically, one close to each end of the barrel.
