Mark description

The mark consists of a caricature of a farmer, outlined in black with a light tan hand and forearm and a light tan face with a single black dot as an eye, a black outlined nose, and black outlined mouth, smoking a yellow-brown pipe outlined in black with two light grey puffs of smoke outlined in black emerging from it. The farmer is wearing a blue hat outlined in black that is black underneath the brim and has a black band, a yellow neckerchief that is outlined in black, blue overalls outlined in black with lighter blue cuffs, a red shirt that is outlined in black with the wording "PETE" imprinted on the shirt in black, and grey shoes outlined in black, where the tops of the shoes are light grey and the bottoms of the shoes are dark grey. There a small amount of a brown sock exposed on the farmer's right foot in between the shoe and pant cuff. There is a line of tan sand beneath the farmer's feet. The farmer is carrying a light brown basket outlined in black, with black shading, that is beige in the center and across the top band, with the wording "EST 1917" in black displayed along the top band of the basket. The basket contains two orange carrots, two red tomatoes with green leaf tops, two yellow ears of corn with green husks, a green lettuce, two purple eggplants with green leaf tops, and two green cucumbers, where all of the produce is outlined in black.
