Mark description
The mark consists of 3/4 outer circle around the coat of arms seal 360 degree full inner circle which contains the words "GEAUX TUTORING". "GEAUX TUTORING" appears in all caps in shades of bronze and gold with a single solid bronze and gold centered dot in front of "GEAUX" and at the end of "TUTORING". The term "UNIVERSITY" appears in shades of bronze and gold, centered at the bottom of the coat of arms seal housed in between the inner circle extending beyond the outer circle. The ribbon is black in color with bronze and gold outlining. A single gold centered dot appear on both ends of "UNIVERSITY". Grey is inside of the folds of the ribbon at both ends to give the 3D effect. Below the coat of arms seal is the Latin word "IUSTITIA" in all caps in gold. Inside the second level to the seal there is a bronze and gold Roman laurel wreath whose leaves are attached to/growing out of the shield. The shield is comprised of three single lined sides having a straight line for the top of it in gold with both the right and left sides of the shield being lines that are curving downward to a point closing the shield, both sides appear in gold fading to bronze. The color black appears as the background in the shield. Inside of the shield are the unbalanced scales of justice attached to the pole stand. At the top of the pole stand is a fleur de lis with a thick bar beneath it and second slim, but then widens up shooting bar (almost like a shooting star) beneath that initial bar. The unbalanced scales have the left scale higher than the right. The scales are attached and curved inward toward the balance beam that is extending from pole stand. Between the left pole stand bar and the scale is a small bar attached the balance beam. Between the right pole stand bar and the scale is a smaller bar attached to the balance beam. This bar is smaller than the bar small bar on the left side as the right side is weighted by contents on the scale. The left scale has a triangle top and a semi-circle bottom for the base of the scale. The right scale which is lowered accounting for the imbalance has the capital letters "GT" inside of partial triangle and partial semi-circle base. The bottom of the "G" in "GT" is attached to the top of the "T" in "GT" forming a single conjoined yet complete capital letter "G" and "T". The pole stand forms a column centered in between the two unbalanced scales outlined by two solid gold bars. At the base of the pole stand is an open book with an outer layer forming the hardcover of the book and the inside layer forming two pages. There are 5 straight lines on both the left and right pages of the book that are centered in the middle of each page. Both the unbalanced scales of justice and the open book are centered vertically in the middle of the shield in a linear top to bottom fashion. The center of the open book binding is centered above the pointed bottom forming the base of the shield. The entire scales of justice and book design in the center of the shield and the "GT" appear in shades of gold and bronze. White appearing in the mark is background and not claimed as a feature of the mark.
