The mark consists of A circular mark with an exterior dark blue border surrounding a grey banner with a white circle on the top and bottom edges of it, with dark blue lettering reciting "NATIONAL SECURITY MULTI-MISSION VESSEL AS DESIGNED ON SCHEDULE FIXED PRICE" and having a red inner border, with a red line on either side of "NATIONAL SECURITY MULTI-MISSION VESSEL", which appears on the top of the gray circle, and with red dots on either side of "ON SCHEDULE"; inside the red circular border appears a circular image of an ocean-going merchant vessel, the vessel has a black upper hull and red lower hull and a white upper structure with multiple black or grey windows and a grey cargo opening in one side of the upper structure with red cargo containers, and a gray anchor on the front of the black hull, and the vessel is afloat on blue waves with the medium blue silhouette of a helicopter hovering over the vessel in a light blue sky with the leading edge of the bow of the vessel extends outside the circular image into the grey banner; and in all white capital letters within the circular image "NSMV" is centered across the dark blue waves and below the vessel.
