The mark consists of a design of a half sun outlined in blue with two horizontal blue lines separating three toned colors, in the following order from top to bottom, light orange, orange and yellow with two blue sea gulls flying in the orange and yellow sections of the half sun, with the words "OCEAN CITY MARYLAND" in blue underneath and a blue and white marlin figure outlined in blue jumping out of the top of the letter "O" with the half sun and wording outline in blue. The color white used in the marlin figure is a feature of the mark but the white color of the background represents transparent and is not a feature of the mark.
