Mark description

The mark consists of a graphic design consisting of an inner circle containing a representation of a star with light rays emanating therefrom positioned above a keystone and arch supported by two columns. To the left is the Greek alphabet letter "PHI" and to the right is the Greek alphabet letter "SIGMA". Between the columns is a shield consisting of a series of closely positioned horizontal lines bearing a cross or "T" shape to the top left, a backwards "L" shape to the top right and a "T" shape towards the bottom of the shield, and in the center, a representation of a skull and cross bones. Positioned above the shield and under the arch is a fist pointing upward and the fist is grasping crossed key and scepter. Positioned below the columns and shield is a banner superimposed over the Greek alphabet letter "KAPPA" and the banner bears the Latin phrase "STELLIS AEQUUS DURANDO". The banner is positioned above the Roman numeral "MDCCCL". This circular design is encircled by a multiplicity of closely positioned dots and surrounding this circle of dots is a ring consisting of generally parallel dotted lines and the words, "SEAL OF THE GRAND CHAPTER OF THE PHI KAPPA SIGMA FRATERNITY" and a flower at that bottom superimposed over the generally parallel dotted lines and this ring is bordered by an outer circle.
