RICARD

Mark description

The mark consists of three elements, namely, an upper dark blue cartouche with a silver border and the word "RICARD" placed in the center and in white lettering; a bottom white rectangular shape that has beveled corners at the bottom and is wider at the top than the bottom. In the center of the bottom shape are fine silver lines radiating out from the top portion toward the bottom; and a middle a shape that has beveled corners at the top and is wider at the top than the bottom. This middle element contains a silver, white, and dark blue foliage design with a red circle with a white and blue border at the center and a silver ribbon motif with dark blue edges that unfurls to the right and left of the red circle and extends beyond the edges of the shape, appearing to curl around behind it. The remainder of the middle element is comprised of fine silver lines radiating out from the foliage design on a white ground. The middle and bottom elements of the mark are outlined in dark blue, silver and white, but the bottom element's top border has a section of yellow that does not extend across the entire length. The mark is characterized by the relative placement and separation between these three elements which together create a tapering effect, with the top cartouche the widest, the middle element wider at the top than the bottom, and the bottom rectangle the narrowest.
