Mark description
The mark consists of three lines of text on top of a stylized beach scene. The beach scene is in the shape of a circle and appears behind all other design elements of the mark. There is an orange border around the outside of the circle with a white inside top edge, the interior of the circle is made up of two parts, a lemon slice in yellow and light orange which imitates the sunset appears on the top portion of the circle and meets the bottom part of the circle in a wave like shape, the bottom half of the circle appears in a gradation of teal, blue, and light blue colors imitating the ocean and meets the lemon slice shape at the wave shaped juncture. The first line of text being "SoCal", is center justified, in white proprietary block font with a black outline, which appears in the middle of the lemon slice in the top half of the circle. The second line of text being "Mini", which appears twice as large as the first line of text, is center justified in white proprietary block font with a thick black outline and an inner shadow effect in light orange, which appears on the wavelike line where the lemon slice and blue ocean meet in the circle. The third line of text being "D nuts", the space between "D" and "n" being approximately as wide as the "M" in the second line of text, which is center justified in white proprietary block font with a thick black outline and an inner shadow effect in light orange. The "D" and "s" extend slightly beyond the edges of the circular beach scene. Where the "O" in "Donuts" would be has been replaced with a caricature of three light brown mini donuts with lighter highlights in which the lower-left Donut overlaps the circle of stylized beach scene, and in which the lower-right Donut is being dropped into a white coffee mug which also extends slightly beyond the stylized beach scene, and which is causing the coffee to splash out of the right side of the cup in four large drops, two of the larger drops appear to be spilling out of the mark slightly protruding past the orange boarder of the beach scene, there are also two small drops. All of the coffee drops are color variations ranging from dark brown to light brown in color. Above the "D" and "s" in "Donuts" appear two palm trees, the left Palm tree being slightly larger than the right and both palm trees have a slight curve that causes them to lean towards the interior of the mark. Each palm tree is brown in color fading at the edges into the translucent background of the mark as if being viewed during sunset from a distance. The clear background is not a feature of the mark.
