Mark description

The mark consists of rectangular box on the top, outlined in black bold, said box containing the blocked bold letters "HuBuCU" in black against a white background. There is a small space under the top rectangular box separating it from a square box, outlined in black bold, and containing a graphic image of a black bird containing a peach stripe, a blue head, and a red ball protruding from the bird's pointed beak. The bird has two thin legs supported by a black base. The legs and base are within a recess of a partially oval, black and white graphic image that gives the impression of a smiling mouth, the ends of both sides of said image connect to the inside of the square box and a small portion of the bottom of said image appears to rest at the base of the square box. The square box has a white background. There is a small space under the square box that separates it from a bottom rectangular box that is smaller than the top rectangular box. The bottom rectangular box is outlined in black bold with black italicized letters "Preserving the HBCU Legacy" against a white background.
