Mark description

The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a green bottle shown from multiple angles. At the top of the bottle is a red circular seal with the letters "JJ&S" in the center in gold, with a gold colored circular outline around the letters that tapers and breaks on the left at the bottom of the "J" and on the right at the top of the "S". Around the top inner edge of the circle are the words "JOHN JAMESON" in gold with a gold dot before and after those words. Around the bottom inner edge of the circle are the words "& SON LIMITED" in gold lettering. Around the cap and upper neck of the bottle is a red label with the stylized signature "JOHN JAMESON & SON" in gold. Below that, also around the neck of the bottle, is a green collarette label with a gold band at the top and bottom. On the front of the bottle, on the green label is a cream colored vertical strip bearing three, cream parallel vertical columns defined by two vertical gold lines. In the center of the middle cream strip, the words "DISTILLED MATURED & BOTTLED IN IRELAND" in green appear vertically. At the bottom of the strip is a red circular seal with cream and gold borders. At the center of the seal are the letters "JJ&S" in cream, with a cream colored circular outline around the letters. Around the top inner edge of the circle are the words "JOHN JAMESON" in cream with a cream dot before and after those words. Around the bottom inner edge of the circle are the words "& SON LIMITED" in cream lettering. On the front of the bottle, there is also a four-sided cream label with straight bottom and sides and a rounded top edge. At the top of the label are green, cream and gold borders. Below that is the word "JAMESON" in large green letters with a gold outline. The letters are arranged in the shape of an arch. Underneath that is a red shield with a gold and black outline. The top edge of the shield extends out in points to the left and right, and the bottom edge of the shield comes to a point in the center. The shield is crossed diagonally by two gold lines. Overlapping the upper quadrant of the shield is a triple-masted sail boat in gold with black outlines. In the left and right quadrants formed by the diagonal bands is a gold anchor on each side. In the bottom quadrant is a gold star. Under the shield is a gold banner outlined in black with the words "SINE METU" in black with a black dot before and after those words. To the left of the shield are the letters "ESTD" in green lettering with the "D" in smaller lettering and underlined, and to the right of the shield is the year "1780" in green each contained between two gold horizontal lines above and below the lettering and year. Below the shield and banner is a thin gold horizontal line that runs the length of the above shield design. Below the gold line are two gold horizontal dashes that are positioned directly below the end points of gold line above. At the bottom of the label are green, cream and gold borders. Below the label is a rectangular green label that is equal in length. The green label has a green and gold border. Centered in the green label is the stylized signature "JOHN JAMESON & SON" in gold. Below the green label, embossed in green glass is the year "1780." From the back portion of the bottle, on the back neck of the bottle, the red label with the "JOHN JAMESON & SON" signature in gold is visible. Below that, on the green collarette label is a green silhouette of a man carrying a green barrel on his back. Below that is a square cream colored label with green and cream borders at the top and bottom of the label. At the bottom of the label in the center of the bottom borders are a white square with a gold and white outline border to the left of a green rectangle. At the top of the label is the name "JAMESON" in green and arranged in an arch. Underneath that is the wording "LEARN ABOUT OUR TASTE AND STORY AT" in green lettering and then below that are two thin green horizontal lines with a space between them. In the space between the lines is the domain address "JAMESONWHISKEY.COM" in green. Below the label are the words "JOHN JAMESON & SON" embossed into the green glass. On the bottom of the bottle at the center, and embossed in green glass, is the design of the silhouette of a man carrying a barrel on his back with the words "750 ML" and "15 MM" places around the design and also embossed in green glass. The broken lines depicting the outline of the bottle and the top of the bottle, as well as the notches on the back and the bottom of the bottle, indicate placement of the mark on the goods and are not part of the mark. The other white in the mark is not claimed as a feature of the mark and represents transparent and background areas.
