Mark description

The mark consists of a three-dimensional trade dress of the product packaging for the goods. The entire box is divided into two parts with a thin light blue band separating the top from the bottom. The top part, which is about 3/4 of the box, is in dark blue and has a wavy embossed pattern. The lower part of the mark is in a light metallic blue that gives the appearance of lighter and darker blues in horizontal lines. On the front of the box in the upper dark blue section is a gold and beige shield with a light blue scalloped outline. Across the front of the shield are two crossed spears that are in blue and beige. At the top of the shield and centered between the spears appears a coat of arms in gold and blue. Below the coat of arms appears a blue banner outlined in gold, with the wording "CHIVAS REGAL" in the color white across the banner. Below that banner is a blue oval that is outlined in gold with beige dots. Below the oval is a blue banner outlined in the color gold, with the wording "GOLD SIGNATURE" in the color white across the banner. Below the crest is the signature "COLIN SCOTT" in gold lettering and the word "SCOTT" is underlined with a gold line. The top of the box has a thin gold line gold line that goes around the perimeter creating a blue border. In the center of the top of the box is a light blue circular seal that has an outer ring that has blue dots and a fanciful border in the interior. Inside the seal is the stylized circular text "CHIVAS REGAL" in blue lettering. There are two small blue dots between the words. In the center of the words is a small blue shield consisting of a heart-shaped design with an internal cross in saltire. The side of the box has "18Y0" in light blue, and then below that are the words "CHIVAS REGAL" in light blue and underlined with a thin light blue line, and then below that are the words "GOLD SIGANTURE" in light blue. The broken lines depicting the outline of the box indicate placement of the mark on the goods and are not part of the mark.
