Mark description

The mark consists of a heart with a shaded outline. Two pieces of elongated shading appear near the top of the heart, one on the left near the left side of the heart and one on the right near the inward point of the heart. A guitar is shown piercing the heart, starting in front of and below and to the right of the heart, piercing the heart in its center with shading extending downward and to the right from the point of piercing and around the body of the guitar in front of the heart. The guitar reemerges from behind the heart to extend above and to the left of the heart, such that the body of the guitar and the frets nearest the body are shown in front of and below and to the right of the heart, and the headstock of the guitar and the frets nearest the headstock are shown above and to the left of the heart. The other frets of the guitar are dimly visible behind the heart, going from the piercing point to the upper left portion of the heart. There is a shaded outline around the guitar and the guitar contains shading. The body and headstock of the guitar are both triangular, with the body also having a triangular cut-out at the end. A ribbon extends out from behind the heart on the left and right sides. On each side, the ribbon curls inward to cover a small portion of the heart and then curls outward and displays wording. There is a shaded outline around the ribbon and the ribbon contains shading. The portion of the ribbon that contains wording to the left of the heart contains the words "TOM PETTY" in shaded letters, with the "T" and the "P" larger than the other letters, and the portion of the ribbon that contains wording to the right of the heart contains the word "HEARTBREAKERS" in shaded letters, with the "H" larger than the other letters. At each end, the ribbon ends in two points.
