Mark description

The mark consists of the stylized wording "CHARLEYS" in white, which is outlined in black to give the appearance of depth, and written at an arch. This wording is featured against, and extends past horizontally, a red oval background that also has black outlining giving the appearance of depth to its lower half. In addition, the "CHARLEYS" wording and the oval have a thin white line encircling them both in their entirety, as well as an additional thin black line that borders only the oval-and-wording design's lower portion. Also within the red oval are five yellow stars appearing above the "CHARLEYS" wording, and below this wording is the much smaller, yellow, and slightly arched wording of "PHILLY STEAKS". The oval-and-wording design appears superimposed on to, extending past the top and bottom edges of, a red rectangle with rounded corners. The smaller portion of this red rectangle extends to the left of the oval-and-wording design, and the larger portion extends to the right of the oval-and-wording design, and also contains the wording "PHILLY STEAKS" in large, white lettering with a thin black border. The remaining, unenclosed white that appears in the drawing represents background, and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
