Mark description

The mark consists of a rectangular white wine label with a blue and gold border with a break in the borders in the upper left hand side of the rectangle. In the center of the rectangle the wording "San Leonardo" in block print outlined in brown with white interior. Underneath "San Leonardo" is the name "Carlo Guerrieri Gonzaga" in gold, script font. In the upper left hand side of the rectangle appears a crown in gold. Under the crown is a family crest in a shield design. The left half of the crest appears in gold, with stars in black, a diagonal line in blue, and a white stylized lion outlined in black with black highlights. The right half of the crest appears in white, with four stylized eagles in black separated by four red lines. The four red lines intersect into a small shield design divided into two red squares containing one black dot each and two black and white striped squares. Underneath the family crest is a banner in gold with the Latin words "BELLI AC PACIS AMATOR".
