Mark description

The mark consists of a circular design bordered by a gold rope outlined in black. Inside the gold rope is a blue ring with the words "UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS" in white, along with two white stars. Inside the blue ring is a field of red. Inside the field of red is a tan cartoon bulldog outlined in black, with black and white eyes, nose and teeth and a red tongue and black mouth wearing a Marine Corps uniform comprising a blue jacket with a white belt with yellow buttons and red folded cuffs, a yellow diamond design on the right sleeve, a grey belt, a red and yellow bar and sergeant's insignia on the left sleeve, a yellow button and red flap at the left shoulder, and a white, grey and black hat. Beneath the dog and straddling the entire mark is a grey banner outlined in black with the words "RECRUITING COMMAND" in red.
