Mark description

The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration comprising a rectangular bottle with a dark blue top bearing the white word "BALLANTINE'S" and a stylized letter "B" in light blue that wraps around the bottle top; a white, yellow, red and green coat of arms consisting of two white horses with red harnesses, a gray knight's helmet, a yellow griffin holding a gray and gold sword, two blue and gold flags each bearing a white "X", a shield with four designs in blue, yellow and white, and the wording "AMICUS HUMANI GENERIS" in red on a white banner; a dark blue chevron-shaped label facing down with yellow trim and the white word "BALLANTINE'S", all above a dark blue rectangular label with yellow trim and a yellow seal bearing a stylized letter "B". Below the dark blue chevron-shaped label are chevron embossments. The wording "ESTD 1827" appears above the coat of arms in yellow. The black dotted lines represent the outline of the bottle and cap and are not part of the mark, and serve to show the position and placement of the mark.
