Mark description

The mark consists of a circular design bordered by a gold rope. Inside the gold rope is a dark blue ring with the words "UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS" in white, along with two white stars. Inside the dark blue ring is a field of red, bordered in gold. Inside the field of red is a tan cartoon bulldog outlined in black, with black and white eyes, nose and teeth and a red and black tongue and mouth wearing a Marine Corps uniform comprising a dark blue jacket with a white belt with gold buttons and red folded cuffs, a gold diamond design on the right sleeve, a red and gold bar and sergeant's insignia on the left sleeve, a gold button and red flap at the left shoulder, and a white and black hat featuring a gold insignia with an anchor, globe and eagle. Beneath the dog and straddling the entire mark is a white banner outlined in black with the words "RECRUITING COMMAND" in red.
