DOMINICK'S PIZZA & PASTA SINCE 1963

Mark description

The mark consists of a red ribbon-like banner with the text "DOMINICK'S" in white font across the top center of the banner. The red banner is outlined in black and has black lines representing shadows throughout the red banner. The banner and text are above a red stylized frame that is outlined in black and has black lines throughout which represent shadowing. There are two round knobs on either side of the frame near the top where the frame connects with the banner. There are two flourishes that have three points on either side of the frame about half-way down each side of the frame. The frame has two inner points at the bottom and comes to a sharp point. Inside the frame there are columns of green, white, and light red, in that order. In the center of the columns there is a black circle that has an inner border of white. Inside the black circle are the words "PIZZA & PASTA" at the top of the circle in capitalized stylized white font. The word "PIZZA" appears above the wording "& PASTA". The wording "SINCE 1963" is at the bottom right of the black circle also in capitalized stylized white font with the word "SINCE" above the word "1963". Inside and to the right of the black circle and in between the wording is a red and white pizza that is on a black and white square. The pizza extends outside of the black circle and touches the red frame. The white and black square extends outside of the circle and red frame. There is a black and white cartoon image of a head and part of the neck of a man with a chef's hat and his hand with his thumb and index finger touching as if making an "okay" sign. The image of the man and his hand are inside and to the left of the black circle and extend outside of the black circle and the red frame. The left two fingers of the hand partially overlap the pizza and square design.
