Mark description
The mark consists of two arms. The first arm on the left curves down with the right hand playing a djembe drum. There's a bracelet of beads around the wrist of the hand playing the djembe, and the djembe is drawn with rope surrounding the bowl of the drum and a tire surrounding the bottom of the shell. The four fingers of the hand rest on the head of the drum and the thumb slightly curves up. The second arm curves up with the right hand, with a bracelet of kari shells around the wrist, holding a paintbrush with my full name (Jean-Lemke Charlot II) along the handle of the brush. The right hand uses the brush to paint my initials (J.L.C. Roman Numeral 2 with a triangle of three dots to represent my official signature), on a canvas which is on a wooden table easel. The paint on the brush drags across the canvas leaving a stroke of black paint. These two arms combine along the center of the design forming two bars in the center. The two bars and the arms together form the traditional Ghanaian symbol "Gye Nyame", an adinkra sign that symbolizes "the presences of God". The group of elements that form this logo depicts a symbol that represents myself as an Afro Renaissance Man Developing Quality Under Every Steady Thought.
