Mark description

The mark consists of an airman, wearing a jacket, helmet and goggles all depicted in brown with black eyebrows and shadowing under his arms and in the goggles with darker brown shadowing around the edges of his face and on the front of his chest against a blue sky and white and gray cloud inside a black oval with grey shadowing to the right of the oval and white highlighting to the left of the oval. Overlapping the bottom of the oval and the airman's chest is an airplane depicted in gray and brown with darker gray shadowing on the underside of the nose and tail and on the wings and brown shading on top of the nose. The airplane has a red nosecone with black shadowing underneath and white highlighting on top with four gray propellers attached, each with a brown band at the tip. The airplane's tail is painted red with darker red shadowing, and the wing tips are banded in red and brown. On the side of the airplane is the wording "MIKE" and "L7" in brown lettering, a red detail that appears to be a signature. At the rear of the fuselage is a white, five pointed star in a brown circle against a white rectangle bordered in brown. To the right of the design element is the wording "FRIENDS", in bold, stacked above "OF TUSKEGEE AIRMEN" stacked above "NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE" slightly stylized and in black.
