Mark description

The mark consists of a packaging box for the goods depicted in three dimensions, comprising a silver rectangular box, a shield design and the wording "CHIVAS REGAL"; the rectangular box is silver; on the box the appears five silver designs in rectangles which consist of a heraldic lion in the upper right corner of the box, a floral design in the upper left corner of the box, a heart -shaped shield design with an internal cross in saltire in the bottom right hand corner; a silver rectangle appears below the shield and contains the wording "JAMES & JOHN CHIVAS"; the wording "CHIVAS REGAL" is in white and appears in a red banner; a red oval outline in gold is positioned below the banner which contains the wording "CHIVAS REGAL"; below the red oval appears a red banner outlined in gold; the wording and two red banners and red oval are superimposed on a silver shield which is outline in gold and has scalloped edges; two silver spears appear on the shield and under the banners and oval which are superimposed on the shield; with three small flowing gold banners appear at the top of the spears; at the top of the shield and centered between the spears appears a small gold shield outlined in black bearing a coat of arms featuring a man wearing armor holding a sword riding a horse. The man, sword and horse appear in the colors silver and are outlined in the color black, the ground the horse is walking on is colored brown. There is a white and silver decorative garland having gold shading located above and on both sides of the small gold shield. The broken lines depicting the rectangular-shaped box indicate placement of the mark on the packaging and are not part of the mark.
