Mark description

The mark consists of a three dimensional configuration of a brown bottle with a beige cap having a red stripe and the wording "BALLANTINE'S FINEST" in black with a black horizontal line on either side of the wording "FINEST" on the cap, the top part of the bottle features a design of a gold and black griffin holding a sword atop a helmet in white, gold, black, and blue atop a shield with four quadrants containing an image of gathered wheat in gold against a blue background in the upper left quadrant, an image of a river set against a gold background in the upper right quadrant, an image of a white building with a gold roof against a gold background in the lower left quadrant, and an image of a gold barrel against a blue background in the lower right quadrant. On each side of the shield, there is a white horse with a yellow mane and tail and red halter and chain and a flag with a white X shape on a blue background with a gold border on a gold flag pole with arrow shaped ends and the wording "ESTD" in gold on the left side of the design and "1827" in gold on the right side of the design, and there is a white banner containing the wording "AMICUS HUMANI GENERIS" in red with a black border with green and yellow designs above the banner. The middle part of the bottle is a chevron shaped beige label with a thin grey line at the top and bottom, the wording "BALLANTINE'S" in black, the wording "FINEST" in gold with a gold horizontal line on either side of the wording "FINEST", the signature "GEO BALLANTINE" in gray, and a red circular seal with the letter "B" engraved in red at the bottom point of the chevron, and the signature "GEO BALLANTINE" engraved in brown at the bottom of the bottle.
