Mark description

The mark consists of two flags positioned diagonally against a turquoise and light blue sky background with a beige outline and with a grey and white cloud toward the bottom right side of the image. The front flag is white with grey shading and with five interlocking rings in colors left to right of light blue, yellow, black, green, and red. Appearing behind, to the left, and slightly below the white flag is a red flag with a dark blue horizontal stripe in the center outlined in white. The posts of the flag are upside down brown and beige bamboo ski poles with a white and grey basket and tip at the top of each post. Below the flags centered at the bottom of the image against beige hills is the golden wording "VI OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES", over "14.-25. FEBRUARY" and "NORWAY 1952" in red, and "OSLO" in turquoise in between. Three small beige towers are on the hill to the left. The bottom left-hand corner has an emblem with a design of five interlocking rings in colors left to right of dark blue, yellow, black, green, and red positioned in the center of two grey concentric circles and against a white rectangular block with two white rectangular towers, each of which casts a shadow towards the center of the circle. The rectangular block and towers are against a light blue background that fills the innermost circle which is surrounded by a thin grey double border. Encircling the circle is the stylized wording "DE VI. OLYMPISKE VINTRLEKER" across the top of the circle and "OSLO 1952" across the bottom of the circle in grey against a white background. The small faint signature "KNUT YRAN" appears at the bottom right corner of the mark in dark blue.
