Mark description

The mark consists of a brown shaded sign with partial outlining and shading. The sign has a peaked top and rounded bottom. On the left and right sides are brown columns with brown and black crenellations on the top and bottom of each, and a pair of crenellations on the upper half of each column. Oval notches are formed where the columns meet the middle of the sign. A rectangular black outline is set into the lower half of each column. Each column also has a white and beige oval towards its bottom. On each column is a gargoyle door-knocker on red with black shading and outlining holding a green laurel wreath with black shading and outlining in its mouth. Hanging from each wreath is a blue ribbon with black shading and outlining and with a black circle on the end. In the center of the mark is a vista depicting a male athlete hurdling a brown bar. The athlete has brown hair, beige and brown skin, a white shirt and white pants with blue shading and brown shoes with black soles all outlined in brown. He has his arms outstretched, one leg straight and one bent to his chest. In the background of the vista, above the bar, is a blue sky and white stylized buildings. Below the bar to the left is a blue field; to the right is a beige and brown field. Beneath that is an angular blue streak, and beneath that a green streak. Centered above the vista are black words which read, from top to bottom, "THE GREAT", over "STADIUM", over "SHEPHERD'S BUSH LONDON". Below the vista, centered on a yellow rectangular background, are the GREEN words "THE OLYMPIC GAMES 1908". Beneath that, is the black word "PROGRAMMES", and beneath that a yellow circle with a black border, with "6D" written in green.
