Mark description

The mark consists of a shield colored metallic gold with a grey border around the metallic gold and a dark blue border around the grey border. The dark blue letters have a white border around the dark blue letters and then a light blue border around the white border. The stars are arranged in rows with the top row containing four stars, the row underneath containing three stars, the row underneath containing three stars, the row underneath containing two stars and the bottom row containing one star. To the left of the word "SOCKERS" is a second triangle colored dark blue with a grey border. Inside the triangle at the bottom there is an apostrophe and the number "78" colored metallic gold. Above the apostrophe and the number "78" is a dark blue colored bridge, several dark blue colored skyscrapers depicting the San Diego downtown skyline, and a light blue night sky with white stars highlighted in metallic gold.
