Mark description

The mark consists of a rectangular label that is composed of a smaller dark blue rectangle at the top and a much larger red rectangle below. In the upper dark blue rectangle is the word "RAMAZZOTTI" in large white letters, surrounded by a thin white rectangular outline that parallels the edge of the dark blue rectangle, creating an outer dark blue border. The red rectangle below is divided into three sections. The largest section, in the middle of the label, is delineated by a thin gold rectangular outline that encloses approximately 80% of the red rectangle and creates a narrow outer red border around the large central red rectangle. Below that, a narrow dark blue stripe extends horizontally across most of the label near the bottom of the red rectangle, but leaves a narrow band of red on either side that corresponds to the narrow red border left by the gold outline. Below that is a second thin gold rectangular outline at the very bottom of the label that creates a red border around a narrow red rectangle. Centered on the dark blue stripe is a gold outline around a dark blue cartouche-like shape with semi-circular protrusions above and below the center of the cartouche. The protrusions contain decorative scrollwork lines in white on the top and white and gold on the bottom. The gold outlines surrounding the red sections of the label just above and just below the cartouche are broken and then curved to parallel the outline of the cartouche including the upper and lower protrusions, and the gold outline directly above the upper protrusion of the cartouche rises to five short lines at the center, two pointing diagonally upwards to the left, two pointing diagonally upwards to the right, and the one in the center pointing vertically upright. There are also smaller semi-circular protrusions on either side of the cartouche. Within the large central red rectangle, from top to bottom, are the word "AMARO" in white, then below that, the words "FRATELLI RAMAZZOTTI" in white, and below that linked script initials "FR" in gold with a straight white line and then a wavy white flourish on either side of the initials. Below that are the words "CASA FONDATA NEL 1815" in white, and below that an ornate shield design in white, red and gold. The shield is white with an outer gold border outline, then moving inwards, a thin red border, a thicker white border, and then a thin red line that outlines a shield shape divided into quarters by crossing red lines. In the upper left quarter of the shield design is a small shield, divided into quarters, in red and white and with a red crown on top on a white ground; in the upper right quarter is a star outlined in red and with red shading on a white ground; in the lower left quarter are the initials "FR" in red script on a white ground; and the lower right quarter is entirely filled with a red cross on a white ground. On either side of the large shield are ornate designs in white that resemble wheels whose inner edges are masked by the edge of the shield. The wheel-like figures are linked to the shield by lines that curve out from the sides of the shield above and below the "wheels" and join together on the outer side of the wheels, extending past the "wheels" in long curves that resemble plumes. Below the large shield a white line extends out on either side and curves around below to enclose the words "SPECIALITÀ DELLA DITTA" in white. Below these words are the words "FRATELLI RAMAZZOTTI" in white script with flourishes that give the words the appearance of a signature
