Mark description

The mark consists of a solid black rectangle. In the upper portion are four white stylized Japanese katakana in a curve above the white outline of a circle containing a white stylized Japanese character. On either side of this circle are the designs of flowering plants in white, surrounded by scattered groupings of three sesame seeds in gold. Below the circle is the wording "MARUHON" in white stylized font, above a row of white stylized Japanese characters. Below this is the wording "100% PURE SESAME OIL" in gold stylized font. In the bottom portion of the black rectangle is an area in a gradient from black to brown to yellow. At the top of this area is the white outline of a banner containing the wording "DARK TOASTED" in white stylized font and a solid yellow circle containing the wording "ALL NATURAL EXPELLER PRESSED" in black stylized font.
