Mark description

The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a bottle with a bottle cap comprising the number "27," a wrapper around the bottle cap and neck of the bottle, a striped string with a seal attaching the string together, the seal bearing an image of a man wearing a hat and drinking from a bottle; at the top ledge of the bottle, the wording APPENZELL is etched into the bottle, on the bottom of the bottle appears the same image of a man wearing a hat and drinking from a bottle, and on the body of the bottle is a label comprising an ornamental scenery of animals, people, and a forest enclosed within a circle, and flowers bordering the circle, a rectangular carrier appears in the front and center of the bottle comprising the wording "Established 1902" with two lines on each side at the tope of the label, the dominant wording "GIN 27" in the center, and the smaller wording "APPENZELL DRY GIN distilled & bottled in Appenzell - Switzerland 100% pure grin spirit;" on the back of the bottle is the wording "GIN 27" and below, the wording "distilled from finest botanicals" and "Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG CH-9050 Appenzell www.appenzeller.com, and below the following wording which is not claimed as part of the mark and forms no part thereof: 70 CLE-ALC. 43%. The numbers on the bottom of the bottle as well as the configuration of the bottle shown in broken lines are also not claimed as part of the mark, and forms no part thereof.
