Mark description

The mark consists of a circle design with the outer layer comprised of stylized animals and people in a repetitive sequence; the second layer comprises circles with an inner circle and the wording "EMMENTALER SWITZERLAND" above three small circles and with the letters "EMM" underlined in repetitive sequence; the third layer comprises a decorative ribbon that encircles the center of the overall circle design which contains a stylized tree with branches forming a heart that encapsulates the busts of a man and woman; the letters "A+F" appears on the base of the tree inside a heart with an arrow going through; various small images of people dancing, standing, or playing music, cheese, animals, stars, benches, moons, spider webs, butterflies, birds, flowers, kites, carriages, and building structures appear on the branches of the main tree; above the heart of the main tree appears a star, two mirroring animals and a cauldron under a steeple, superimposed on a mountain background with a sunrise; under the roots of the tree are stars, mountains, a building with an animal on each side, four flowers, and a cross inside a circle.
