Mark description
The mark consists of a stylized design of a quilt pattern and the wording "'OHANA HARBOR COFFEE". The quilt pattern is a representation of a coffee tree and cherries based on Hawaiian cultural and historic references to quilt patterns made by Hawaiians. Four sets of branches with 7 leaves each span the mark at even diagonal locations from the center circle. The represented branches with 3 cherries each sit 90 degrees areas from the center circle. The quilt pattern is, thus, symmetrical and even at any dissection. The height of the quilt pattern is 3.5 times the cap height of the word, "Harbor" where the capital "H's" height, in the full mark, is used as the baseline measurement for the entire quilt pattern. The wording "'OHANA HARBOR" is in stylized font modified to create flared corners and ends. This can be seen in all letters with the exception of the "O"'s. The "crossbars" in the "A"'s have been raised for a more pronounced oblique in the face. The "R"s decender drops below the baseline of where all the other letters sit. It is flanked by a rule that starts from the capital "O" and ends at the last "R" of the name "'OHANA HARBOR" and thus underlines that name. The word "Coffee" is centered below the rule The grammatical glottal stop (or 'okina) that begins the name "'Ohana Harbor", is part of the full logo and provides a correct and authentic cultural pronunciation and spelling of the word "ohana" as it pertains specifically to the Hawaiian language and all of its cultural grammar and spelling rules. Its shape and form is equivalent to a backwards apostrophe. The glottal stop or 'okina rests outside of the rule and the full mark of which is centered within itself.
