De acordo com o Ato Normativo 161/2002:11.4.13. Os desenhos ou fotografias não poderão conter: textos, logotipos, timbres, rubricas, símbolos, marcas ou outras expressões exceto "fig. 1", "fig.2", etc.o objeto, em questão, contém o símbolo da bandeira nacional, tal representação não poderá constar no pedido de registro de desenho industrial. Vale lembrar que a "pipa", para obter o registro de desenho industrial, precisa ter a forma original em sua configuração externa.
