O registro de desenho industrial protege o objeto na forma em que foi representado através das figuras que constam no processo. Portanto, não se pode mencionar, no relatório descritivo, características de futuras variações. Vestimenta do boneco em questão seria uma dessas características, assim como o cabelo, cor dos olhos, expressões faciais, etc. Está claro, que o quê se pretende registrar é o boneco, e não as vestimentas deste, sendo assim, opcionalmente, poder-se-ia registrar o boneco somente como se apresenta nas figuras 3 e 4, suprimindo-se as vestimentas, que poderiam ser qualquer uma desejada.assim sendo, o depositante deverá retirar todo o 5º parágrafo, linhas 23 e 24: "A referida boneca...pedido de registro."
