The mark consists of a cartoon-style chef giving a thumbs-up with his left hand and holding a spatula and fork in his right hand, all in front of stylized flames and above the stylized wording "HAPPY HIBACHI". The chef is outlined in black and has light beige skin, black hair, black eyebrows, eyes outlined in black with black pupils and white sclera, a black nose, pink cheeks, an open-mouth smile outlined and shaded in black with white teeth and a pink tongue, and a black chin dimple.  The chef is wearing a red and black jacket and a red chef hat that is outlined in black with gray shading and has a white hat band outlined in black featuring a black, white and blue circular emblem in the center. The spatula and fork are gray with brown handles, all outlined in black and with the handle on the spatula having two white pins. The stylized flames in shades of red, orange, and yellow. The wording "HAPPY" is in red and "HIBACHI" is in yellow, both outlined in black.  A white outline appears around all of the foregoing elements.  All other instances of the color black represents background and/or transparent areas and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
